Man Utd 'mad' to sell Rooney
Former Manchester United defender and assistant England manager, Gary Neville has told Manchester United that they would be 'mad'to sell Wayne Rooney. He said it would be a mistake to sell a player whom he described as the best player in the Premier league. The striker is heavily linked with Chelsea and is also willing to leave the club but Gary Neville believes if the striker stays, it would be a productive relationship between the player and the club. Wayne Rooney missed the Community shield victory over Wigan Athletics but has been named in the England squad to face Scotland later today. Gary Neville further said it would be hard for Manchester United to find a replacement for the 27 year old striker if he leaves the club.
